Question Custom Engine Wiring Harness

While my engine is out of the car at the moment, I would like to do something about my wiring harness. It is pretty much shot and brittle as hell. What do you guys think would be cheaper, more practical?

1. Buy a new wiring harness from Malloy and strip off most of the wires/connectors because I don't need them (I have a single setup).

2. Have a hotrod shop custom make me a wiring harness with only the connectors that I will need.

3. Buy all of the (new) plastic connectors from Mazda (if this is even possible), and make my own wiring harness.

Thanks,
Phil

cheapest
3 - if you use your existing connectors

then
1 - if you want something simple...I've slimmed down many brand new harnesses for singles and they look stock; pm me if interested.

last 2.

I can't, most of them are cracked. And you got a PM.

I bought a brand new harness from Malloy 2 months ago and stripped all the plugs and wires having to do with Emissions and the Sequential setup off, then pulled the pins out of the plugs for a totally stock look, and Im wrapping it in McMaster-Carr self fusing silicone tape to better protect it from the engine heat. Slightly expensive option, but I think it will have better results than any of the other options.

I found those connectors at the local junk yard, look in Mazdas and Fords.
