Custom Bearing Puller for 5th Gear Synchro job

I am replacing my fifth gear synchro and I cannot proceed until I custom build a bearing puller. I already have a bearing puller, but must extend it quite a bit...just wondering how others made theirs. Any suggestions??? Thanks a ton in advance.

Doesn't Mazda offer a SST for this?

Ask him how to install them. He should know of any special tools you may need. Ray is a god guy.

I borrowed the SST from the dealer....

But I've seen homemade setups that work FINE by just taking a cheapo small gear/bearing puller and making some extenders using flat stock steel bar.... I have a pic somewhere...
