CUSCO roll cage installed

Does anyone know the amount of work required to fit the front half of the cusco cage in an american spec FD? Since it is made for a RHD car, I know it would interfere with the cramped interior space as it is, but I've heard of people doing it

If I'm not mistaken in Japan they are approved for racing. In america, I think the issue with them not being legal is because the diameter of the bars is too small for the legal limit.

I dont really know why but i thought it was because the bars were not welded together.
