Current limit on spare spade acc +12v ?

Hi guys,

Previous setup : i had my water temp gauge only wired to that spare spade connection next to the foot rest that is a switched +12v. It worked beautifully.

But last night, i tried to also plug to it my AFR gauge, and my Innovate wideband commander (which needs more current that the gauges, since it has to warm the sensor on startup).

And when i turned ACC on, nothing, neither on the gauges, nor the WB commander.

So i wired my AFR gauge directly to the battery, it works.

So i am thinking : did the commander draw all the current, that even the light of the AFR gauge (LED) didn't light up ? (yeah i wired the light on there also, since an LED cannot take advantage of a dimmed +12v).

Then my last question : if what i think is true, where can i find a switched +12v with enough current to make the WB commander work ?

Thank you people

It's probably best to use the switched 12v accessory to switch a relay that powers your wideband.
