CRV will a longer hose make any difference?

Found the source of my Whoosh, the CRV had blown off, not sure if it had a hose clamp on it or not.

To clean up the area, I was thinking about using a longer hose moving the CRV farther forward. Will the longer hose make any difference in the way it works? Doesn't seem like it would, but just checking.

Thanks

A little longer hose won't cause a problem. The OEM hose is pre-formed. If you really want a shorter hose, you can browse the Heater Hoses at AutoZone or NAPA for other cars. You can usually find a pre-formed heater hose which will have a 90 degree bend (somewhere in it) and cut to size.
