CRV switching at 3000rpm?

I've been fighting 10-6-8 boost for a long time now. I have recently discovered that it seems my CRV is switching at 3000rpm instead of 4500rpm. When I teed into the vacuum line going into the CRV, I saw vacuum until 3000, then a quick switch to 0, then a slow build in boost. When I tee into the line going to the CCA, I see vacuum until 4500rpm, then an instant switch to boost. I've even teed into the CCA and CRV at the same time (with two gauges) and this is still true. I replaced the CRV solonoid, but nothing changed.
What could possibly cause this? Would it be safe to wire the CRV solonoid into the CCA circuit to see if it would then switch at 4500? Please help, this has been going on for a long time!!

Your problem sounds very similar to mine, except mine snaps quickly to 0 at 3000, not the slow leak you describe. Plus I replaced the solonoid that you did and the problem is still there! It seems more likely that the solonoid isn't receiving the electrical signal at the right time, but I can't understand why!

Hmm .... might want to run a volt meter to the solenoid and see if it's in fact triggering early. If so, post it and see if anyone has advice.

I would think short, wrong connector on the solenoid, or bad ECU ... let's not go there until you're sure though ...
