CRV (Charge Relief Valve) Question
My CRV valve is opening at 14Kpa of vaccum and the manual says it should open at 26.7Kpa. What impact would this have?
Im assuming that HOT air escapes from the CRV and Air Bypass Valves so they should be directed away from the air filters. I guess if I knew more about how they worked I could answer my own questions.
Any advice?

Shouldn't hurt anything as long as your car makes enough vacuum at idle to open it and enough boost to close it. If it opened sluggishly it could cause problems with your turbo transition.
The CRV is open below 4500 RPM while the 2ndary turbo spools up, hot air goes into the airbox. At 4500 RPM it slams closed and the CCV opens up so the 2ndary turbo can give boost along with the primary turbo. The system resets down below the original transition, I think it is around 3000 RPMs.

you should check and make sure you don't have your CRV swapped for your ABV. The ABV opens up at a lower pressure, I believe around 15kPa, you can double check in the shop manual. if your CRV is opening early I would think you'd have crappy transition from primary to secondary turbo.
