Question Cruise control W/momo/sparco steering wheel?

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has a cruise control setup with an aftermarket steering wheel? I installed a sparco torino racing seat and an M2 roll bar and now I can't move the seat all the way back. I road race about 5 times a year and now my steering wheel(stock) is too big, so every time I turn my hands hit my legs. I want to get a sparco or a momo steering wheel but I wasn't sure what I could do with the cruise console on the steering wheel. Thanks for the help in advance.

You should be able 2 get one with a few buttons on it and you can hook them up 2 whatever you want.

I would think it is possible... just a little engineering on your part.

No, not for FDs. Flyin' Miata (http://www.flyinmiata.com/store/prod...c=31&updept=28) has an MS adaptor for the Miata which may work, but I don't know of anyone who's tried it.

I've installed a standard MOMO hub on my Miata which has a clock spring mechanism that looks indentical to the FDs. I put some pics and a link to that on the FD steering wheel install page. Still working on the text. I think the MOMO adaptor would work fine on the FD and it's a helluva lot cheaper and better built at $60 (MS was something like $180).

You remove and then paint them:

Has anybody thought about using a Mazda Protege 5 steering wheel? They look very similar to the last production model's wheel and they have the same three cruise control buttons installed on them.

Hey when you guys replaced the steering wheel using the momo hub, what did you do with the clock spring? I didnt want to cut it, incase I wanted to put the stocker back on, so I just tucked it underneath the dash for now.

Also do I have to take apart the dash to remove the airbag light or not?
