Cruise Control Removal

I want to remove my cruise control system because it doesn't even work in the first place. What parts do I need to remove? Please post some pics of the parts.

Thanks
Riptza

It is the little black thing that sits rights over the top of your clutch master cylinder. It only weights .5 pounds, so It isn't really worth the effort to remove. I love my cruise control.

I just noticed you are in australia. It is probabably on the passenger side of your car right by the firewall and it will have a cable running over to the throttle body.

If it's truly broken and you want to remove it, there are no special tools. The actuator, for RHD is probably on the passenger side as already stated...3 bolts as I recall. Although I don't think there's any reason to pull them, there's also a CPU, probably behind the driver's kick panel (RHD ?) It's about 1.5" square and will have a single (10 pin I think) plug. The steering wheel switches are self-explanatory as is the dash switch.
FWIW, Cruise can be as good as any radar detector in saving you from tickets.
