Talking Cruise control

on my way to work today I was a little bored... So I started to wonder if cruise control would work at 120 mph... Much to my dissatisfaction it didnt... The highest I could set it to was 100... Im sure somone has figured this out already but I figured what the hell

Probably there is a set RPM limit that you cant set your cruise control above it. 120MPH your RPMS are going to be getting a bit high for cruising without putting extra wear on your engine.

No, the reason you can't engage your cruise control at 120 mph is that Mazda figured (correctly, apparently) that some drivers wouldn't be smart enough to not engage the cruise at such a high speed....
