I doubt its effectiveness at increasing body rigidity. And it wont fit in the back of your USDM Rx-7 as we did not have backseats. Youd have to cut up your center console. Do you have sway bars and strut bars? Those would be great, relatively-cheap places to start improving your cars handling. Cusco makes nice bars for cheap. They fit great and work as well as anything else for a street application.

its probably not a rx7 in the picture b/c its made for different applications.

as far as "does it work" i'd have to say it should.

notice the beam supports that are bolted on to fd race prepped vehicles from the underbody. theres a group buy for the underbody braces btw.

this product should add some stiffness.. think mini roll cage

im going to have to agree with barban on this one, is it really worth cutting your console? i would rather opt for better antiroll bars and strutbars, either that or a nactual rollbar that will add some rigidness and safety...

i still cant see how this would be mounted...they really should show a pic of the actual car its going into...

it can slip under the tranny cover if made properly, or even over. in the description it says it mounts to seat belt attachment points on the floor.
