creep

ok i did search and read most of the boost creep threads, still cant find my answer.

i have upgraded duel fuel pumps, 4inch RB catback, DP, Highflow cat, BOV, custom intake

my problem here is i am having boost creep, not terrible creep but enough to scare me. The car boosts its normal boost pattern 10-8-10, but at WOT from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th i can watch it on the boost gauge hit 10 then slowly climb to 11 and sometimes 12. 12 is th highest ive seen it. Now im running the stock ECU and i dont wanna lean this thing out and pop the motor(BTW it was also quite hot out today, im scared of what it will it when its cold out) SO....

1. can the stock ECU handle 11-12 psi only at WOT w/o hitting the fuel cut and leaning it out.

2.I dont have a boost controller but i guess i should be getting one, it will help control the creep right?

3.should i just be done wit it and port the dam Wastgate, and have my problem solved?

thx

1. no your playing w/ fire.
2. not always. Some instances it will but best solution is 3.
3. yes.

All the threads you have read lead you to the right solutions. I would look into a t least a pettit unlimited ecu if you want to run 11 to 14 psi.

I agree stock ECU really shouldnt be pushed above 10 PSI. Porting the wastegate is the best protection against creep.
