Crazy, weird, and funny all in one, check it out!

Okay finally got the 7 back on the road after replacing the mop (a real bitch). After i got it back on the road made a few test passes and every thing went fine. Go to do one more pass and as im building boost an intercooler hose comes off, no biggy (spl), pull back up at my house tighten the hose pull off again, as i go down the road i push the gas a little and wut, no boost, not evan 1 psi but i can hear the turbos spool a little. Okay thats a small prob, they worked fine before so its prob just a hose came off or something, Here the crazy part, as i pull back into my driveway i stop cut the key off but the damn car is still running and im like wut the hell, (no turbo timer either, its for sale). I turn the key back on them off and the car still runing, i look at my lights and they were still on so i cut them off and bam the car kills. My little test went like this, lights on, key on, car runs. Lites off, key on car runs. Lite on key off car runs until i kill the lights. Any sug.

Thks

what's a mop !?

I had as similar issue with teh lights turns out, taking the relay box, that sits at the front of the car and turning it upside down, for V-Mount is a cool thing but not when washing the car and waster gets trapped in there... look for a faulty or sticking relay...

My wife's 88 Merkur did that after we installed aftermarket day-time running lights. For some reason, with the lights on, it didn't let the car shut off. You could even take out the key. I think it had to do with the wire we tapped into for the running lights.

Maybe when you took out the turbo timer it affected something in the ignition.
I doubt it has anything to do with the boost though.
