crazy electrical problem...warning lights won't turn off
Guys, I put a Pineapple rebuilt motor at the beginning of the summer, as well as a new wiring harness. I have been driving on the new motor and harness with no problems since early July (just finished break-in, actually!) I also have a PFC which I have had since last year. But last week, when I would apply a load to the electrical system (step on the brakes, turn on my lights, turn on the radio, etc...), all of the warning lights on the dash come on. I mean the low battery light, low coolant light, oil pressure light, and anything else that lights up when you turn the key to "ACC." I don't think it is a fuse, but I checked them all anyways. I also checked and cleaned all the external grounds: the one under the engine by the spark plugs, the engine ground to the firewall, and the PFC ground in the car, and I still get the same problem. Could it be a short in the ignition or in the dash? I am not that familiar with the wiring of the dash, but I am reluctant to take it apart if I don't have to. Has anybody else had this problem before? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
