Hey guys I have tried searching for possible remedies. My car will crank just fine, but the fuel pump is not priming nor is the cluster lighting up when the key is turned forward. I have provided a quick brief summary at the bottom for those that would wish to not read the entire post.

I'm trying to be as detailed as possible in an attempt to leave clues to the problem. I suspect the problem to be near the steering wheel with the ignition switch area? The car was running then parked. I attempted to tuck up the wiring underneath the steering wheel and after this condition happened. Within 20 minutes or so.

I have attempted to tried jumping the fuel pump through the diagnostic box without luck as well as jumping the fuel pump relay. Also the cabin overhead lights and windows work. The headlights pop up, but do not illuminate.


I was just curious as to what could have caused the car to crank fine but not allow the cluster to turn on or the fuel pump to prime?

Summary:
-crank, but no start.
-fuel pump not priming
-gauges not illuminating
-cabin lights and windows functional
-no headlights
- no action when key is turned to "acc" despite cranking fine.
-suspect problem under steering wheel (ignition wires?)

Well after extensive searching, I found a thread similar to mine which indicated it might be the main fuse (120A). I will try this tomorrow.

 

Are there any updates on this? Sounds exactly like a problem I'm experiencing now... but of course this thread wouldn't have a resolution, hah.
