Went to go remove the connectors off both crank angle sensors and the bottom (g) snapped the plastic mount so now the sensor moves around. Is it possible to just safety wire it secure or do I just replace it. If so where's the cheapest place to get one?

 

This is the component responsible for telling the ECU when to fire your injectors and coils, you really do not want to safety wire it in place. Just buy a new one from Mazda or a used one from someone in the parts section.

 

If your wallet is thin, use JB Weld?

I have rigged them before but on this engine I wouldn't, unless ignition timing is not critical.

 

Replace the sensor before you blow the motor. If the sensor moves the timing will walk. If you are really in that much of a pinch I have about 20 of them laying around the shop.
