Cracked Cross-over pipe???

Wondering if this is a crack in the pipe or just the mounting point? Car's hot right now but I'll pull it off as soon as it cools down?

Also, what are the sideeffects of a cracked cross-overpipe? Boost? HP? TQ?

I'm still boosting to 10-7-10 pattern.

Thanks

Victor

I have had two cross over bracket failures. One leaked, one didn't. You need to pull it off and look under where the bracket goes. Hold it up to a bright light and look inside.

Side effects: Loss of presure equals loss of HP. Also your turbos will be working harder to compensate i believe. Fix it if it's leaking asap.

Yeah, that's not a crack. It's just a groove for the bracket to rest in. Just replace it with the efini y and x-over then you'll never have to worry about it.

Ditto. Bracket separated from the tube, but no boost leakage. That tube is expensive to replace.
