I can't think of anything on the cutout. The tach should read the same, it's just labled wrong now (re redline). The auto redline was actually for the torque converter. They can't handle high rpm (which is also why the new RX-8 auto has much lower power than the manual - you can't get into the "meat" of the power band because the torque converter would explode - or something).
