Counterweight for ACT flywheel

I have just received an ACT flywheel and clutch kit which I ordered from two different places. The flywheel did not include the counterweight that other places sell with the flywheel. My question is do I need to order the new counterweight or is there a stock counterweight on the car already that I can use. I don't mean to be ignorant, I have had my FD for a while and I have worked on other cars before but I haven't worked on an FD before. Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks

James

If your car is a 5spd you need to get the counterweight. No way around it.

It is a 5-speed, so does the stock setup have a counterwieght and if so why can't I use the stock counterweight instead of paying 100+ for the new one?

The stock flywheel has a counterweight cast into it. The automatic has the counterweight you need.
