Air bag light wont turn off?
My air bag light has been blinking for two years, so i finally decide to remove the air bag diagnostic module today (little computer under dash) Well i pulled the thing out, and before i did i disconnected the blue and orange clips on the column like it says, and my damn air bag light is on steady now.
I thought removing this was supposed to turn off the light? I did leave the blue and orange clips undone though, could that be why my light is on?
Anyone please help, i cant look at this F****** light anymore.
Thanks, Mike

Taking off the module doesn't make the light go away, anything that is removed from the airbag system will make the light stay on.Like mad7tist said just remove the bulb. But you should put the module back on.

i just pulled the bulb out, and no buzzer came on at anytime. Guess its cause i already got the computer out.
The air bag didnt work cause the jackass who owned it before me really half assed the car. he had a small front ender and set off the airbag, and never bothered to replace the sensors. ive spent the last 2 years fixing his fuckups. The car is finally starting to come together though with my lastest install of the fender liners
lastly, what kind of midget hands do you have to get that bulb out in 2 minutes. I just about had to dislocate my fingers to get my hand up their. then turning the bulb, i mean damn.... i lost the thing in the dash once i got it off. I figure it will fall out with some hard breaking in the future. then i can try to put it back in and probably lose it again :P

There are 4 SRS sensors and 2 modules (one for each side pass/driver). The light comes on and stores a code. Have a diagnostic test done and replace the part yourself. It's probably a bad sensor.

No, a buzzer doesn't come on if you just remove the bulb and still have a module on.In order to make the light go off you have to replace the bad sensor, the air bag if it's no good, since you waited so long a module, and then you have to take it to the dealer to erase the codes.
