Cost of Rear Suspension Bearings (searched)
I am trying to figure out the cost of replacing all the bushings and
bearings on the rear end of a 1993 R1 that I am considering buying and
am using the following page to attempt to figure out the cost.
http://www.mazdatrix.com/h93-95c.htm
The numbers I am getting are a little high - much higher than the
numbers people were reporting in the search that I did. For example,
if you add up all the numbers below, you get a loopy $455.94. I'm
hoping that that is for both sides - it is not clear from the site if
that is per side, in which case the cost would be over $900.
Outer toe link bearing (26-2300-FD01, $47.73)
Inner toe link bearing (28-42Y0-FD01, $50.19)
LCA inner bearing (28-4600-FD01, $72.83)
LCA middle bearing (26-2200-FD01, $61.50)
LCA outer bearing (26-2200-FD01, $61.50)
UCA outer bearing (26-2200-FD01, $61.50)
UCA inner bushing (28-8C0A-FD01, $52.64, 2 per side)
UCA shock bushing (28-710A-FD01, $48.05)
Am I missing something? I realize that there are aftermarket
alternatives for the bushings, but I am not fond of non rubber
bushings on a street car.
TIA
