Is this the correct FJO Injector Driver?

hey guys

I'm looking to buy an FJO Injector Driver for the FD?
I'm going to be running stock primary rail with the 850cc injectors
and 1680cc Bosch Secondaries

the reason why i ask is because it says this in features:

"Can be used in multiples for 6, 8, 10, and 12 cylinder applications"

thanks,
VJ

From that page

"That's right, the best just keeps getter better--and Less Expensive!. The new KID0404 second-generation Low Impedance Injector Driver is smaller (only 4.5" x 1.25" overall), easier to install (half the wires of the old version) and has more advanced microcontroller technology that allows for never-before-seen injector accuracy and precision. All at a price that is LOWER than the first generation. For 4-Cylinder users, the FJO KID0404 Injector Driver is half the price of the nearest competitor (and, in reality, they aren't all that near to start with.) This is the one you need!"

It says what you quoted because there are only 4 channels on that driver one per each injector on our cars. If you have more injectors (ie. more cylinders).
The injectors can be batched together to run more than one injector per channel.

ok i read it all as well...the thing i don't understand though is that there are a lot of people using them...so how would the wiring go for this as i'm using only 2 low impedance injectors

please excuse my ignorance on this matter

I honestly think you are thinking to deep into this. I believe you would just use two of the four channels on the driver.

Here is the thread you need with a few good links:

I am running an FJO with Bosch 850 pri & 1680 sec.

First of all, I would rethink using the old school Bosch injectors. This is a design that is more than 15 years old. I recommend the newer Bosch EV-14's or better known as Injector Dynamics. There are many threads on the forum discussing sizing and advantages. No need for an FJO with these either. I wish I would have went this route with my build. It's more money, but much better quality.

850 primaries in themselves pose problems with leaning out the idle. Some have issues, some don't. Mine idles at around 11.4:1. This is stupid rich. I simply haven't been able to lean it out, nor can my tuner. Overall, I've had it with these injectors and will be going with an upgraded setup.

ID 725 pri
ID 2000 sec

If you still choose to do what you originally discussed than you simply wire up the secondary's. You could of course wire up the primaries as well, but there is no need. They will react the same. The FJO unit itself is quality, and very reliable. They have no **** NEVER, had one fail. I know because I had an issue with mine being fried by a power issue. I recommend putting it on it's own circuit, or wiring in a 10amp fuse with the power wire. Mine was pulling power from the ECU. The only fuse on that circuit is the EGI fuse which is 30A. When my alternator plug wiring grounded, it cooked the FJO.

I think you should re-consider the ID injectors, there is a set for sale in the 3rd gen section for $100 off retail. Then you do not need an injector driver. 1 less thing to fail.
