cornering

hi everyone i am new to rx7club.

i have a 2004 rx7 with 66000 miles. it doesn't seem to handle too good around corners. the guy i bought it from said he got in a small accident a while back but got it fixed. said the headlights were busted out.

i noticed the car pulls to one side when braking. and i added brake fluid.

There aren't any 2004 RX-7's. Maybe you have a 1994?

First, I would check the tire pressures. Then get it aligned at a good shop and ask them to check if anything looks messed up.

hey man, do you mean 1994 rx7, because they stopped selling rx7s in the US afther the 1995 model year. If the car isnt handling too well there has got to be something wrong. I would get it to a rx7 specialist and have them go through the car.

sorry i was told year 2004 could be wrong. it looks like all of the cars under everyones names and in signatures. had a mechanic look at it today. says the ball joints and cv boots need to be replaced as well as the right front caliper.

Damn you were sold a 11-13 year old car and was told it was a 2004? Dude where did you buy it from? This sounds like a deal that may be totally bad for you with the problems you are having.

Yeah you got OWNED if you were told that you were buying a 2004 rx7. They haven't amde that car in America in 11 years!!!!!! You didnt try to look up the KBB value? I promise it wouldn't let you search for a 2004 rx7. You bought a 2 year old car with 66k miles on it? Doesn't that seem a little odd to you that somone would drive a sports car 33k a year? How much did you pay for this"2004" anyway? Dude, I am sorry this happened to you, but you need to do research before you buy a car.

sorry,
-josh

so whats the deal kid, youve been posting for a couple days now, some of your threads have been closed and you havnt really explained why you think you bought a 2004 rx7. did you get totally ripped off and decided "screw it" i guess i will keep this? you know they have laws against people doing that to protect you man.

i would guess your probably about 16-17, people tend to do dumb things at this age so dont worry about it, educate yourself first before you decide to throw a single on there (yes i read your other threads) and save yourself the heartache and wallet thickness.
