I just wanted a low-ish miles 96-spec FD to replace the 94 that I killed before xmas . Mods werent an issue, it just happended that this car had had a few done already. I looked at a stock 96 RZ with half the mileage again on it which was going for £16K here in th UK, nice but big premium for the RZ so off to Japan!!

Any ways, I wanted a 96, and have got one just wont have to buy a few goodies that I otherwise would have planned to! Intake looks a bit dodge, so will prob replace And other bits of course As for the 2nd rad - puzzling, I dont think its much special. Will find out when it arrives! It looks standard externally BTW.

Its the standard Jap 96-98(?) rear spoiler; the one between the 'usual' one and the 98-onward jobbie thats variable angle. Allegedly it does produce a small amount of D/F (at warp speed?), compared to the 'usual' one any how. I'll let u know in due course

BTW, sorry about the multiple posts - PC/me were having a mare (just back from pub...)

I bet it's not a dual radiator.

I bet it's a IC/radiator combo

In V config... like this <

So air coming into the nose of the car has two choices... go through the rad..or go through the IC....

I think Knight sports also makes one...

FD Pilot is correct. I knew that sounded odd having a "v" shaped radiator. I get it quite a bit...why do you have two radiators?

Looks nothing like mine mate. My I/C and rad are in 'normal' positions you'd expect them to be where a FMIC is installed....

Nope. I/C and main rad are in normal position for a FMIC install. Will try and find pic.

That COULD be the AC condensor that you are looking at down at the bottom.

Yeah, I think you're right, a couple of others have suggested its the A/C 'radiator'. I never noticed it on my old one, but then I guess the FMIC and non-stock rad make it more easily viewable : )

Cheers,
R.
