Coolent leak, big time

now ive always had alittle oil and coolent leak, but this time i noticed a puddle of coolent under my fd, i filled it up at the movie theater, came back from the movie and when i started it up the coolent light was on. another puddle, so i filled it up again and drove it home, about 25 min. when i got back the engine was smokin alittle, smelt like antifreeze. drips alot faster when the car is on. it was dark so i couldnt tell much but the smoke is coming from right infront of the engine block(big grey thing, i dont know much about engines but im learning) so anyone have experience with this?

Yeah, probably should look for the leak, then fix it. Pressure/dye test will help if you can't spot it with the car idling, but from what you're saying, sounds like it'll be a pretty obvious squirter.

yea i actually found a little 4 inch hose that had a hole, i replaced it and no more leak, however now the coolent light and the beep stay on. i noticed a wire in that area that i think i disconnected. at the end of the wire its like a oval copper piece, but from what it looks like that piece goes into like a plastic clip. i just dont see how. someone please tell me whats up
