Coolant System Sealer

Well I have done some searching and read a few things that have me worried. My car when started cold gives of a little white smoke (at least it looks white). I also find the car a little harder to start when its been warmed up. From my reading it seems that I might have a problem with my coolant seals.

The question: Coolant System Sealer. Is there a brand that is better then the others? And if I don’t have any coolant seal problems in my engine would it be bad to add this stuff anyways?

Thanks
Derek

dmhRX7,

You most likely dont have a coolant problem, the weather is colder out causing more condensation, also the colder weather could be problematic for start up. If you are constantly adding coolant or have a *sweet* smell from your exhaust then it "might" be something to be worried about. But if you want to do a coolant seal fix follow this below link, of course it temporary.

I believe you have nothing to worry about.
