coolant seals :(

i think she's gone its the coolant seals. this morning the engine was flooded again and its definitely a coolant + fuel mix coming out.

just out of curiosity though, are there other paths that coolant can take to get into the combustion area?

You'll never know till you strip it down.

before i strip the engine down..

during unflooding(cranking) coolant drips down from somewhere and makes it to the ground underneath the secondary turbo. i have tried locating the source of the coolant without any luck. could it be a leaky water pump gasket?

this doesn't sound like a problem related to blown seals from what i've heard.

honestly, it doesn't matter, the engine is beyond being saved. It's time to rip her apart and fix her.

exactly what i intend to do. if the leak to the ground is another problem i need to make sure i take care of it during the rebuild as well.

i don't want my freshly built motor to have that same leak
