Coolant seal fix

I've determined that I have a small coolant seal leak.
The engine has never overheated so I don't believe there is any warping of the engine housing.

Before jumping in with the usual fix of rebuilding the engine, I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has used the o-ring fix described here:

http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/o-ring_fix.html

It is the use of CRC Block Weld.
If so, did it work and how long has it lasted?

do compression check before jumping to conclusion.

you want to get a consistent number on both side of both rotors

What would a compression check tell me?

I pressure check the coolant system and it held for a few hours, but decreased overnight.

Current symptoms:
Overflow tank overflowing after driving.
Small amounts of coolant on spark plug after cool down.
Small amount of white smoke when I start the car the next day.

Is the any other problem that would cause this

Thanks Mahjik,
That was my concern. I do not want to seal any areas that should not be sealed.

What am I doing wrong? I used 2 big bottles of CRC block weld and I'm leaking water into the engine? Any tips? I'm going to flush it out again today with degreaser and start over.

Thanks, Ed
