yes ive search and read all related post. im just looking for a more direct answer and hoping its not: yeah your seals are bad.
i replaced my upper radiator a couple weeks ago, oem replacment. since then ive burped the system to get it completely full. well, yesterday it was pretty hot and i was driving to town and after about 15 mins i pull over to get some gas. when i go to get back in the car theres coolant dripping from under my overflow tank. i popped the hood and check all the hoses and see that my upper hose, the one that goes into the regular filler neck, is suck closed from the top till just past the bend towards the radiator. the hose has been suck shut before during the days i was getting the system full. so i know it has pressure, but is it going the right way. also i have a high idle and its been dropping and rising about 400rpms, in between 1300-1700rpms, at low speeds with my foot off the gas...hopefully this is not related.
engine has 17000 miles on it since a mazda reman, from the previous owner. mods- intake, dp, catback and i had plans to install pfs pmc and mp today?!

i fill the filler neck back up, and drove it around the block. after cooling down it leak a good bit out from the overflow tank. once it was completly cool i took the cap off and it was still full. and the overflow is a few bars over full. maybe im just paranoid...and its was just to full, but what caused the hose to suck togehter? little help here, this is my only car.

If a rad hose is collapsed, and u have an AST, then u have the wrong cap on the ast, or there is a plugage in line to the overflow tank. also likely u are running very high coolant pressures.
ast muct have the cap with spring, filler should have cap with no spring.

in my original post i left the word hose after radiator. so yes the hose is brand new.
as for the caps they are in the same place as always. what could cause high coolant pressure?
more trouble- i took my oil cap off and theres white creamy sluge on the cap and in the tube. WTF? thanks for the help, keep it coming.

I think your probably ok I've seen the white creamy look on every fd I've owned you just don't want the bubbling champagne type look when you shut the car off. Take it for a nice drive come home and take a look in the oil neck and see whats happening. IMO you just put in too much coolant. Stop worrying and just drive the hell out of her. Just curious when you topped off the coolant how much did you put in after you noticed it coming out of the top of the overflow tank? I am guessing not that much cause the system was already full. As for the hose being pulled closed that has not happened to me before but make sure you have the right type hose. When those seals go you will know it. You won't be overflowing coolant you'll get the coolant light cause you need to add more.

thanks for the encouragement Flynn. i drove it about 50mi today, with out a problem with the coolant. as for the hose its the factory one from mazdaformance. i just took the oil filler neck off after driving it. no more white sluge but, a light brown film in the neck and about 4 tiny bubbles. i just dont see how a seal could be gone, it only has 17000mi on it.
another problem i noticed- it idles at 1000rpm if i touch the gas it will go up to 1300rpm and hold. also while idleing about every 15 secs it sounds like it is detonating. tink...tink...tink.
its my only car and i cant afford a rebiuld so, thanks for the help.

When the seal goes, the coolant buzzer will go off constantly even though all your liquid is full? Is that how you know when you need a rebuild? My engine is getting pretty old. Don't know when I need a rebuild or tell signs that it need one.
