coolant light stays on, no buzz
I replaced my turbos over the weekend and we did lose some coolant from the install, but I added coolant to the system to make up what was lost. My overflow tank is way over the full mark and when I tried to put coolant in the filler neck the coolant was overflowing from the tank at the bottom. My questions is do you guys think I still have air in my system, too much coolant in overflow,or a faulty sensor? Just wondering if any of you guys had this happen to you, thanks again!
Sometimes the resistance required to trigger the beep versus the light becomes different over time. One will trigger before the other and vice versa. Top off the cooling system including the overflow and be sure it's free of air pockets.
thanks guys, I think I might have found the problem. The white connector from the sensor and the harness was loose. I connected it firmly and so far no light. This mustve came loose from removing the air pump and adjusting tension on alternator.
