coolant level sensor UNIVERSAL???

Is the thread on the older rx7 coolant level sensors the same? I need a new sensor and they are outrageously priced and am wondering if i can use a 2nd gen sensor?

Yes, they are the same, however you do need to change the connector.

I just bought mine on eBay for around $20. I tried to get one at the local parts stores and apparently they don't exist in their systems. My connector was already changed anyway so going to a sensor for an FC was a no-brainer.
