Question Coolant Leak Need some Help

well i was driving today and i ran into a friend of mine with a old box styled m3 so we raced and after word when i reached my destination(wich was work) my car start to smoke really bad from the engine bay. so poped the hood and looked around to see where it was leaking, at the same time doing a sniffer test to see what was leaking exactly well after doing a lil sniffer test i knew it was coolant, well i found that it was leaking in the area of the turbo's, but i couldnt never find exactly where it was leaking from but i knew it was in that area of the car. well i get off work and put it on a lift ( i work at a honda dealership im a technician in training) and let the car run but i couldnt find any major leaks anywhere but i did see traces of coolant at the bottom of the car. but i couldnt find any real major coolant leaks so i drove home with no problem but i didnt boost at all. so i have no clue of why i had a huge puff of smoke when i got to work..... sorry for such a long story but when dealing with a mechanical problem u have to know the whole story.

I'd check all the hoses first, , to and from the radiator, looking leaks around the connectors, kinks, then possibly the water lines going to and from the center section of the turbos. It sounds more like as the pressure through the system got high and hot, it puked some coolant on the turbo side which or course hit the hot turbo/heat shields/DP in the area and turned to steam.

See around Atlanta soon,
