MA Coolant Leak

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to see the best way to tell the difference between a leak from the intake manifold compared to a bad coolant o-ring.

Hope someone can advise.

Can you be a bit more descriptive here?

The only coolant near the intake manifold would be from your throttle body coolant line. By O ring, do you mean a blown coolant seal? If you have a blown coolant seal you'll be smoking heavy white, sweet smelling smoke. The best way to track down a coolant leak is to rent a pressure tester from an auto parts store and pressurize the system and start looking.

It is extremely rare to have a coolant seal leak externally. Get a pressure tester and see where its leaking from.
