Coolant Issues. Need Help

Ok, I let me start by saying that i removed my ast. My low coolant buzzer keeps coming on and then a minute later it is fine. Well i thought there might be some air in my system and i am trying to burp it. I have never done this in this car but i dont think that when your cap is off and the car isnt even warmed up the car is spitting air and coolant all over the place. If this is normal then why the hell is my buzzer going crazy. Anyways any help would be great. Thanks in advance

I'm not clear on this thing about "i dont think that when your cap is off and the car isnt even warmed up the car is spitting air and coolant all over the place...".

This is how I fill and burp the system:
1) disconnect the coolant line to the TB near the firewall.
2) fill the system at the filler cap, wait 5min.
3) reach down in front of the pulleys and give the rad hose a squeeze. Air bubbles should puff up and make room for more coolant. Top off.
4) put on the cap, replace the TB coolant line, start the car and stay nearby.
5) wait 5 min or until the add coolant buzzer goes off. If it does, stop the car and use a heavy towel to remove the cap (it will splash a little). Top off.

You're done. Keep a towel and some more coolant with you in case another big bubble settles out while you're on the road.

It's simpler to use one of those funnel tools but I'm too cheap to buy one.

Dave

If you have a large amount of air left in the cooling system, then, as air bubbles get near the filler while it's running, it will spurt. I think that's what you're seeing.

Do as DGeesaman says, and that hopefully should solve it.
