OK.....yesterday when i got in my car to go to school the "add coolant" buzzer came on.....well we popped the hood and the over tank hose had blown off and there was coolant all over the damn place.....well we put that back on and started it again...well after about 20 seconds it did it again. Well i rode with my friend to school and we went and got some coolant and some prestone complete flush crap because i was going to just re-do everything anyway. Well this morning i went out there to add the stuff....i put water in it and i noticed that it was all comming out of the bottom of the car. Well to make a long story...longer i guess we jacked the car up and took the wheel well off to see what the deal was. When we added water it came out of the clear plastic reservoir where u add the coolant and it was leaking out of there.......There are 3 holes in the top. One where the coolant and water goes into......another big whole with a rubber gasket thing around it with a big hose goin from it....and another small one. BUT we didnt have a hose or anything in that one and that is where all the **** was leaking from....is there supposed to be a hose there? or a plug? I looked and looked and couldnt find a hose or any sign of a broken hose ANYWHERE! It looks just like the bigger hole that had the hose in it...but it just has nothing. Is there supposed to be anything in there or do i just plug it up? Oh yea when we took the drain plug out of the car only about 5 quarts of coolant came out...i guess the rest of it came out of the car at another time. It like just happend yesterday i guess cause i havent had any problems with it since. I need help with this one guys...please any help is greatful

i think you added it to the wrong place. the hole is supposed to be there

Ok good.. well i was about to add it there...but i didnt. I am adding it to the right place now...but it seems like it is full and the buzzer still came on after idling for a while. Also is it normal for the car to put out white smoke when i start it up? THanks again
