well i know( and practice) that information. i keep everything in tip top shape. this car would not have made it to stage 3 if i didnt lol. but i just removed the overflow tank to install a new one and there was a brown muddy substance caked at the bottom and on the sides of the tank. i believe this means that there is exhaust gases leaking into my coolant system...hence, a rebuild. i just wanna be sure that there is nothing i overlooked. i still pull good vacuum pressure, still pulls hard, nothing leaking out the exhaust. still keeps a steday operating temp. im just sort of depressed about this situation...thanks for your time

Hello friend,
Don;t be depressed!!!
You can still drive it even though there's a slight leak. The main thing is to stop the coolant dumping, I found some carbon deposit in mine as well but it's not a big deal. Hang in there.

MAKE SURE to change the damn hose that connect from the filler neck to the turbo.. ( that hoe really easy to crack!!! ) in order to change it.. u have to remove your crossover pipe, and air pump. and make sure there is no air when you fill up ur coolants

well i fixed the thermostat and that fixed the coolant leak, and then i dropped around 1100 for a 6 puck and a lightweight flywheel and then 600 miles later the fuel pump went bad in the middle of boost and the motor blew so what company do you recomend i buy the motor from? any other helpful tips?

thanks

Hey Matt, Sorry to hear about all the engine issues. There are several good shops to buy from here's a list of the most recommended:

1. http://pettitracing.com/
2. http://rx7.com/products.html
3. http://www.gothamracing.com/osc/index.php

There's also http://atkinsrotary.com/

I hope one of these shops works for you. Be sure to shop around for the best possible price.
