Conversation regarding an FD and turbos

Well, we just got new neighbors in my apartment building and I happen to be by the mail box so I introduced myself. Well, we got to talking about cars and the topic of an FD came up. Well, here is the conversation.

HIM: Which RX-7 is the one w/ the more bubbled shape to it?
ME: The Third Gen RX-7...the FD.
HIM: Which years?
ME: 93-95.
HIM: Doesn't it come w/ twin turbo?
ME: Yeah.
HIM: What kinda of mods do people make on it?
ME: Various mods like exhaust, intake, ecu mods, single turbo...etc.
HIM: Single turbo? Why would they want to go single turbo? Wouldn't twin turbos make more power?
ME: Not quite, it depends on the sizing of the turbos among other things.

I'm by no means a whiz or anything, but I found the conversation amusing.

For people the want BIG HP then always end up going with Large turbos. THe little ones will give you power early but will only be able to give you 13~lbs of boost as were the single can go 15-30.
