Constant Torque Hose Clamps for FD

Hey,
Does anyone one know of any hardware stores that carry those constant torque hose clamps (not the worm type)? I keep blowing off my IC pipes.

thanks

They work great, I have them on all my ic piping. Very expensive, like 5 bucks each. I have my friend buy them straight from the manufacturer, I'm not sure who else supplies them.

I think TUrbonetics makes their own high-torque clamps which are a little different but jsut as effective.

You're getting a steal, I typically see them for $10-$15 each.

Those are the clamps with the spring, right? Why do I see lots of people running them so tight the spring coils touch? It seems like it would almost defeat the purpose at that point.

Some suitable clamps:
5281K19 (this is what I have been using for years)
5325K31
8946K32 (t-bolt)

Constant torque clamps like these are designed to stay tight through heat cycles. Heat cycling is what causes the normal hose clamps to loosen over time. These won't.

I'm still looking into it and it could be months before they order anymore in our size. It would only be a couple that I could get anyways. I also have some HoseTechniques but they don't have the spring, just a nylon nut.

As far as the coils touching, they may have gotten one size too big and had to crank all the way to get them to seal.

Summit racing also has some for about $6 a piece, most are about $10.

I'll make you a deal Brent, if I win the lottery then I can buy the hose clamps I want ($60 a piece) and I will give you mine.
