I am considering an RX-7 as a project car, but I dont know a whole lot about rotary engines. Can someone give me some suggestions what to keep an eye out for when searching for the car to buy?

research the rotary like church goers read the bible. religiously.

 

The two most expensive things on this car is the paint/body and engine. Everything else can be found on the forum for a reasonable price and since it is a project you will probably enjoy fixing a lot of the stuff. I enjoy working on them more these days then driving them. Black interior can also be a little costly to find used or to replace. However, everything else on the car is pretty standard pricing compared to other average cars on the road.
