Before I install my JDM 5-speed tranny, I want to install the updated spindle select to avoid "crunching" into the wrong gear (not just 5th).

After searching the archives and a recent <for sale> posting for a 5th gear repair kit, I have found these three DIFFERENT spindle select pn#'s.

Which one(s) are correct:

R503-17-550
R501-17-476
W501-17-7250 (??)

Unless you bought a pre 94 JDM tranny, the upgraded spindle is already there.

 

The first number is correct.
