Compression test results

98psi rear rotor
95psi front rotor

I guess that's okay.

Not sure...I just had mine tested but it was in a different measurment. Also unless I am wrong there should be 6 numbers total, 3 for each rotor face and 2 rotors=6. But maybe thats just for the test I had.

But yes those numbers are good...anything in the 9's is good for psi.

The difference is that he probably used a traditional compression tester. Instead of the digital tester from mazda. It gives readings for each of the three compression chambers per rotor. Hence the 6 readings. 3 for the front, 3 for the rear. ........ As long as the gauge went up in steady pumps, You should be alright. I diagnosed a bad Apex seal with the traditional tester. It had 1 good pump and then some weaker ones. (This was the apex seal crack.) Those readings are OK if they went up evenly. Good luck!! P.S. Are you looking for a problem(diagnosing a problem)?

I'm not trying to diagnose a problem. My FD idles fine and runs really smooth (Royal Purple kicks ***). I just wanted to share my results. It's not the greatest results but everything else is fine. Maintaining the car properly should keep my engine healthy. I'm not trying to see a rebuild anytime soon.
