Ok, after moving my brake master cylinder reservoir around a few times,(swapping to a different MC) - it finally cracked and is leaking. I would pony up and buy the $$$ new one, but it is no longer available from Mazda. Its fairly hard to find FD's to source one from - what other models had the same reservoir? I just need a good replacement - and would like the level sensor, but its not required.

Ha, I'm not the only one! I leaned on mine while pulling the engine and mine also cracked. I am also Interested in a replacement.

 

You can get one master cylinder from 929. It will make your brake a bit touchy since it is a bit larger unit so you end up upgrading while you are at it.

 

I already have a 929 MC - which led to me breaking the reservoir when I swapped it over,(got it w/o one to begin with).
Does the 929 reservoir have the level sensor? If so, that might be easier to deal with as a replacement.

 

I believe you can use the 929 reservoir. Might want to give Ray a call and see if he has any.
