collant gauge not fonctioning

hi i just did a single turbo swap on my car with a big tune up of the motor. When i replug everything i must of cut the connector for the thermoswitch (meter). i know that its a yellow, white wire. i wanted to know where does it plug and can i plug it into the green, white wire of the thermoswitch.
