Cold start assist? or AWS?
I recently developed a problem in my FD
i beleive it's either the CSA or AWS.. but not sure...
basically i start the car in the morning... RPM kicks up to 2,000ish for about 5 secs then falls back down... (always done that since i bought it)
normally i just bypass the AWS when i start the car anyway.. wasn't a problem..
i have the airpump elimator (greddy pulley kit) and was told to except a surging idle...
that was fine too...
but NOW... i start the car in the morning.. it's like a bloody V8 with a huge cam..
the car will keep stalling.. unless i hold the gas pedal slightly to keep it alive..
BRAP BRAP BRAP, i can feel the whole car shudder everytime the RPM dips...
once it's warm everything is fine... but i hate sitting it the car waiting for it to warm up...
how do i go about diagnosing and/or fixing this problem?

LMAO!
i found the cure without even opening the hood
I installed a test/mid pipe (cancelling the Cat)
and installed a HKS super Dragger Catback on the car
this morning.. i put the car in 1st gear, she started right up and i didn't have to hold the throttle to keep it alive.. i just strolled right back in the house...
