Question Cold=zero boost; Warmed up = Regular boost

New issue, getting zero boost when the car is less than warmed up.
After it's warmed up, regular boost patterns.

We do still have Error codes for Knock Sensor and Purge Solenoid, but those were there before the boost issue came up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

when posting it's a good idea to put all relevant info.. like we know you and have been following your car, modifications, issues and all related like we're your stalker. it helps to know more than a few basic things about your car versus checking your profile and previous posts.

i would start with a pressure test of the intake system, all it requires is some plumbing caps, a pressure regulator and some soapy water. next try moving the turbo pre-control and charge control arms manually to see if they are sticking while cold.

You do realize you shouldn't be boosting it when cold, right?

That said, the double throttle is shut while the car is cold just for that purpose. Can't remember what temp it opens. You can easily disconnect the vacuum line to the double throttle to test it. With it disconnected it should stay open (ie, full power).

technically you should still be able to boost, granted i haven't tested it in very cold climates since i live on the west side. and yes, it's not a good idea to boost it anyways until it's warmed up a bit which does make a bunch of tests rather moot.

Check the double throttle operation. You should stay off boost until the car warms up anyway.

Right.

Not the 3rd Gear 3,500 rpm type of boost.
The car, when cold, all of a sudden just feels like it has no turbos at all.
I haven't experienced it yet, my son explained it to me that way.
We have been a little cooler this past week, although not Cold -- it is Orlando after all.

Double Throttle will get checked first.

As always, Thanks for the input.
Signature changed to try and include a little overview, thanks for that comment too.
