coilover question.

After adjusting the height on your coilovers do you have to get an alignment?

Diddo. You have messed your camber settings all up and need to bring them back into spec. Did you lower it or raise it? A little negative camber (lowering) will help your cornering but posotive (raising) is awful for cars. If it's not a permanent adjustment then set it where you typically drive it and align it there, mark it with a line or something that ways you can quickly raise or lower your car and then be able to go back to where it is correct.

Thanks guys, we just installed some teins on one of my friends cars. We installed a camber kit too, so the alignmetn is awful now. She'll probably take it in for an alignment tomorrow.

Another question. I noticed springs and struts ride high at first, then after a little while they lower to their final riding height or "settle" if you want to call it that. Does this happen with coilovers too? How long will it take to "settle"?
