code 71 on my 93 fd

Ok thanks for the help in the first place on my limp mode problem. I used the ten pin trick and got a code 71 "front secondary injector circuit open" I reset the ecu and cleared the code and the car runs a lot better, but it still will not boost at all and seems to be running rich. Any ideas where to go from here? I'm going to start replacing/double grounding this weekend, but anymore info would be great. I've been doing so much reading and studying about this car I think my head is going to explode! lol

I am also looking for a car club in the STL area. I don't have any rotorhead friends around and I can't take all the "shoulda bought an american car" comments anymore! I need to get this thing going right and kick some mustang *** asap!

right mate well the code is pointing you in the right direction,, forget the double grounding,,,the problem lies with either the injector or the wiring to the injector,,, (would be very cheap and easy to replace the injector with a 2nd hand one that u could buy off the for sale section),,, examine the plug that plugs into the injector the heat from the engine makes the wire insulation crack and snap. (if u got no boost and u say its running rich then maybe the injector is stuck open and dumping fuel like crazy,,, again cheap and easy to replace the injector),,, let us know how you get on

P.S (do u have axcess to a service manual,,,, there is a part that explains how to test the resistance of the coils in the injectors and the voltage at the plug )

no I don't. I've tried but can't find one specific to my 93. I know I suck cause I'm a noo-b but I'm trying here. If you could point me in the right direction to a shop manual I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again for the info. You saved me a lot of extra work this weekend!
