Anyone have any experience with the clutchmasters range of clutches. I'm interested in the HDKV (70% inc and kevlar) or HDTZ (110% and kevlar). What do you think about them. Do they handle the power and have a good life expectency. Anyone know the cheapest place to buy?

I havn't heard anything about them but one brand i have heard alot about is ACT and how good they are. So if i was looking into getting a new one i would go with ACT.

I have the stage 3 kevlar in my modded TII, so far so good, excellant clutch and I have not been kind to it at all...Max

 

have not used them on a 7 yet but i had a motor swapped honda. it held the power nicely. definately what i will go with when i get a new clutch for the 7. pricey, well yeah, but not anymore than the other places. plus if you buy a CM clutch and flywheel at the same time you get a discount on the flywheel. almost half off from what i remember. stage 3 is the best. its a full face so that is fully streetable unlike the PITA puc style, and way stonger than a stock replacement. it can take almost everything you throw at it. think about it this way. 110% increase over stock. stock is 255 just 100% over that is 510 FWHP. and its still going to grip. no need for the puc style at all. CM makes a very good sprung plate too.
