Clutch system broke?

So has anybody ever experienced this and what exactly is it?

I was cruising up the onramp getting on the freeway yesterday and I heard a loud pop and the clutch pedal hit the floor and I hear something rattling around under the car. Now I am pretty sure it was either the the throwout bearing got knocked out of place of the clutch fork broke. I had it towed to the shop that just replaced my clutch a week ago but they were already gone for the day so I will find out today what happend.

Your wedge collar or your clutch fork broke. Most likely, if the clutch was just replaced a week ago, they probably slightly damaged the wedge collar. If it's not basically perfect, it won't hold the throw-out bearing.
