Clutch Question
Clutch Question
My car has basic bolt-ons; Dp, mp, cb, intake, FMIC and will be running 12psi on my PFS. I am hoping for something in the neighborhood of 300whp on a brand new reman. My question is this, on this mild set-up, is it rerally worth upgrading the clutch? I am going to purchase a new clutch while my car is in pieces, but am not sure if I can stick wiht O.E.M, or if a ACT s/s is neccesary. Any input would be appreciated.
Well thats not exactly the question. I am replacing the clutch regardless. The question is, wiht my mild mods, is it neccesary to drop the extra 200 or so bucks on an upgraded clutch versus an O.E.M.

You may as well upgrade the clutch from OEM so at least you have room to grow should you decide to later down the road. After starting this clutch job, I hope I never have to do it again (big thanks to the local guys for the help!).
